Text Box: Welcome to our B.E.S.T. Robotics website! We are excited about the chance to share a little bit about our team and our robot with you. What is B.E.S.T.? B.E.S.T. is a non-profit volunteer organization whose mission is to inspire students to pursue careers in engineering, science, and technology through participation in a sports-like, science-and engineering-based robotics competition. If you are interested in the B.E.S.T robotics program, go to their website www.bestinc.org to find out more information on how to participate or support the program. This year’s theme is Just Plane Crazy. Our job is to assemble an airplane and put it on the hanger to deploy to the runway. We must develop a robot to accomplish this feat. Our team name is the Krazy Kamikazes. As you may or may not know kamikaze is Japanese for “divine wind.” They believed the divine wind would cause them to live an everlasting life even though they were suicide bombers. We desire the same blessing (just not with suicide); we’re determined to win and ready to overcome any obstacle that stands in our way.
